to use the Swagger & Swoon website you hereby agree to the following
terms and conditions of use. If you do not agree to these
terms and conditions of use then you should not continue to
use this website.
Payment is by credit or debit
card only and all orders are processed on a secure server.
All prices are in UK Pounds unless you select a different
currency, and your card will be charged in UK Pounds regardless
of the currency you choose to view prices in. If any customs
or other charges are payable, this will be payable by the
recipient of the order and Swagger & Swoon shall have no responsibility
for any such charges.
Current stock levels are shown on product detail pages. Although
stock levels are updated automatically as products are added
and removed, the stock level figure should be taken as an
indication of available stock only, and not as a guarantee
that item is in stock or fit for sale. In circumstances where
it is not possible to despatch an order due to incorrect stock
levels, damaged goods or other stock issues, Swagger & Swoon
will contact you as soon as reasonably possible to provide
Special Offers / Sales / Free Gift Offers
for products listed as a Special Offer, On Sale or any other
reduced price or free gift offers or any other offers are valid as long as stocks last or as long
as Swagger & Swoon decides and can be withdrawn at any time
without notice. Requests for sale or reduced prices after
a sale has finished will not be considered. Free gift offers apply while stocks last. One free gift per customer that places an order containing a product from the specified category. Choice of gift is not available, and offer can be withdrawn at any time without notice. Free Delivery offers apply to UK Standard 1st Class post only unless otherwise stated.
Facebook, Twitter, Tell A Friend and Product Review prize draws: Voucher winners are chosen at random from the latest product reviews or Tell A Friends submitted since the last draw, or the full list of Facebook fans or Twitter followers. Only one winner is selected from all entries (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, Tell A Friend, Reviews). The winner will be notified by email or through their relevant profile. Vouchers are valid for 3 months from date of issue or as otherwise notified. No purchase is necessary. The Judges decision is final and no correspondance will be entered in to.
Discounts / Vouchers
Discount codes and gift vouchers can only be claimed online,
and must be entered at time of checkout. Discounts and gift
vouchers cannot be applied retrospectively, and cannot be
claimed after an order has been submitted online or otherwise.
Only one discount or gift voucher can be used per purchase / per customer,
and cannot be used with any other discounts or vouchers, including
but not limited to quantity discounts. Discount codes and
other offers can be withdrawn at any time without notice.
Gift vouchers are valid for 6 months from date of purchase
unless otherwise stated, and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Discounts are only valid for the amount paid; discount codes offering discounts greater than the amount paid will only be valid for the amount paid, and no additional discount will be provided. Please see the Returns and Refunds section for more information.
Free UK Delivery on all orders! No minimum order. Free delivery is equivalent to UK 1st Class post.
UK 1st Class (2-3 working days): 1st Class delivery to the UK is free. Most orders placed
before 4pm Monday-Friday are despatched the same day
by Royal Mail 1st Class post and usually arrive within 2-3 working
days (Mon-Fri) from despatch (subject to Royal Mail).
Orders placed on weekends and Bank Holidays are despatched
the next working day. BFPO orders should select this option.
UK Tracked (24hr and 48 hr): Tracked Delivery to the UK is £3.95 - £5.95 per order. Tracked options receive a tracking code to allow for tracking your order from despatch to delivery. Tracked deliveries do not require a signature, so make a good alternative to Next Day Delivery. Most orders placed
before 4pm Monday-Friday are despatched the same day
by Royal Mail Tracked post and usually arrive within 2-3 working
days (48hr option, Mon-Fri) or 1-2 working days (24hr option, Mon-Fri) from despatch (subject to Royal Mail).
Orders placed on weekends and Bank Holidays are despatched
the next working day.
UK Next Day Delivery (Next Working Day by 1pm, and Saturday Deliveries):
If you require a next day delivery (available Mon-Fri
only, excluding Bank Holidays), this is available for only £6.95 (for 1pm delivery, or £8.95 for Saturday delivery) by selecting
the Next Day Delivery option during checkout.
Next Day orders are sent by Royal Mail. Please note that a signature
is required on delivery so someone will need
to be at the delivery address to receive the parcel.
Please note that next day delivery for delivery on a weekday is for UK orders only, and available for orders placed by 4pm Monday to Thursday.
Orders placed after 4pm will be despatched
the following day. Any Next Day Delivery orders placed
by 4pm on Friday will be delivered on Monday unless
a Saturday delivery is ordered. Next day Delivery orders
placed after 4pm on Fridays, on weekends or bank holidays
will only be despatched on the next working day to arrive
the day after. Next Day Delivery to remote or outlying
areas of Scotland (and Islands) and Channel Islands
will take on average 2-3 working days, and will be sent by Royal Mail. Please see the Returns section
in our Terms and Conditions for important information
about Returns and delivery charges.
Non-UK Shipping: Additional
shipping charges apply to countries outside the UK (view full
list of shipping countries). Shipping
charges are calculated according to the weight of the item
and can be selected when adding items to your shopping cart.
Orders are sent by Royal Mail Standard Airmail and usually
arrive within 14 days (excluding weekends and bank holidays)
from despatch. Orders sent Express usually arrive within 7
days (excluding weekends and bank holidays). Please
note that Express Delivery charges are non-refundable
if an order is returned. All international delivery times
are subject to your country's postal system and customs. Please
see the Returns section for important information about Returns
and delivery charges. Please note that if your country is not listed as a shipping destination we are unable to ship to that country.
Free International Delivery over £50! Applies to orders over £50 excluding delivery. Free delivery is equivalent to Royal Mail Standard Airmail (14 days).
We aim to despatch orders received by 4pm GMT the same day
they are received (excluding Bank Holidays and Weekends),
but delivery time is subject to Royal Mail and same day despatch
is not guaranteed. We cannot be held responsible for Royal Mail strikes or other action that may affect delivery time.
Delivery Addresses: If you select
a different delivery address to the billing address (i.e. the address where your card statements are sent to),
the delivery address will need to be verified separately.
This may in some cases delay your order and in some cases your order
will not be delivered to an address other than the billing
address, or may be cancelled if we are unable to contact
you at the billing address. If you have ordered a Next
Day service, you will not be compensated for any delays
caused by using a delivery address that's different
to the billing address.
PLEASE NOTE: Most orders fit through a normal letterbox, however if you have ordered more than 3 ties the package will be larger and there should be someone at the delivery address to receive the delivery or a re-delivery may have to be arranged and you will be responsible for any extra charges as a result.
Packaging: All ties are posted in padded mail bags to protect them from damage. Orders of 1 or 2 ties will normally fit through a standard letterbox. Most of our ties are also enclosed in clear plastic/cellophane sleeves, but this is not part of the standard packaging.
We are very happy to deliver to BFPO addresses. These are treated in the same way as UK addresses, except that Next Day or other special services are not available for BFPO orders. Please just select the Royal Mail 1st Class post option, and enter your full BFPO address, your order will be delivered through the BFPO system.
Formation of a Contract and Non-acceptance
of an order
A contract will only be formed when Swagger & Swoon manually confirms your order by email or when your order is despatched. Receipt of an automatic email when placing your order or paying online does not constitute a contract and cannot be considered binding.
Non-acceptance of an order may be a result of one of the following:

Our inability to obtain authorisation for your payment;
Our inability to confirm your order or order details within
48 hours of the order being placed;
Our inability to contact you by phone or email using the information
provided in your order;
Our inability to verify your billing or delivery address;
Failure to complete or provide relevant card security information;
Any discrepancies in your order, including but not limited
to, different billing and delivery details;
The identification of a pricing or product description error;
You not meeting the eligibility to order criteria set out
in the Terms and Conditions;
Cancellations, Returns and Refunds

If you wish to return or exchange an item,
please see the back of the packing slip that came with your
order for instructions on how to go about this, or see our Returns page. Requests for refunds/returns
must be made within 30 days of delivery - late returns will
not be considered, however some allowance will be made in the event of Royal Mail strikes or other action which may prevent timely returns. Goods should be received by Swagger & Swoon
within 14 days of notification of intent to return. Return postage costs are
the responsibility of the person returning the order - it
is recommended that you return your goods using Recorded Delivery. Next Day and other express delivery charges are non-refundable unless the order is cancelled as per the terms below.
If you wish to cancel your order, you should contact us as soon as possible
after ordering and we will cancel your order and refund any
payments you have made. If your order has already been despatched
you will need to follow the returns procedure above, unless it is within 7 days of receiving your order, in which case you may cancel your order (UK only) under the Distance Selling Regulations (2000). To cancel your order under these regulations, you will need to inform us in writing (by email using our contact form is acceptable) that you wish to cancel your order, within 7 days of receipt of your order. We will then refund you in full within 30 days however you will still be responsible for returning the goods at your own cost, and ensuring the goods are in their original condition. If you fail to return the goods within 14 days of cancelling your order, we will arrange to collect the order and you will charged for any costs incurred.

Next Day Delivery charges are non-refundable unless the order
is cancelled as above, or does not arrive within the day specified in the Terms and
Conditions as the next working day, or through any other fault
of Swagger & Swoon. Return postage costs will only be refunded
if the return is due to an error of Swagger & Swoon and if a
receipt for the postage is included with the returned product,
and only for Royal Mail 1st or 2nd Class postage, and Royal
Mail's Recorded Mail service. In such cases if a full refund
plus the return postage is required, it will not be possible
to refund more than the original purchase price, and postage
costs will be provided instead as a Swagger & Swoon gift certificate
or discount voucher which will be valid for 6 months. In the
event the goods are not returned and Swagger & Swoon is required
to recover the goods, we will charge you for any costs incurred
for such recoveries. We reserve the right to limit the amount
of times an order or item can be returned or exchanged. These returns procedures do not affect your statutory rights.
Discounts & Charges: If you have received a quantity discount as a result of
a bulk purchase or any other similar offer, and have returned
part of the order for a refund, the discount originally received
will be readjusted based on the number of products retained
or other terms of the original discount, and any refunds will
be subject to these adjusted discounts. Swagger & Swoon is not
responsible for any customs charges, bank charges or any other
charges incurred by you as part of a transaction and will
not reimburse any such charges.
Any returned products must be in the original packaging,
and the goods should not have been used or damaged in any
way. Any returns that do not comply with these requirements
will not be refunded. The address for returns can be found
on the Contact Us page and
on the back of your packing slip.
If you're not sure whether the colour or type of tie you
see on your screen is what you want, you can order it anyway
and if it's not right you can return it within 14 days for a
refund. This is especially useful if you want a specific colour
or shade for a wedding, and gives you the opportunity to compare
the tie with colour swatches.
Swagger & Swoon uses a secure server for processing your order and payment. Swagger & Swoon is also accredited by ISIS so you can buy online with confidence. We do not store your card details - these are passed securely to your bank in the background when you complete your order and we do not have access to your card number or security code at any time. We are PCI DSS compliant, which means our servers and procedures have passed the strict controls laid out by the credit card providers, and our servers are regularly monitored and tested for security.
Any information entered in this site, for example your name and email address entered in our contact forms or your address for delivering your order, will be used to contact you and keep in touch with you about your enquiry or about the product or service you have received from us. You may receive direct mail by post from us and you can request not to receive these by contacting us at any time. You will not be added to our email mailing list unless you have opted to do so by subscribing to our newsletter or entering any prize draws or competitions we hold, and you can unsubscribe from any mailings at any time. In accordance with the Privacy & Electronic Communications Act, we do not send random marketing emails to personal email addresses (spam).
