Stylish men stick with stripes
Stripes
continue to lead the way in men’s tie fashions,
with bold colours still being hugely favoured.
That’s according to Gary Baker, who runs www.tiewarehouse.co.uk
– Britain’s leading online tie retailer.
He has also noticed that the trend for stripes on ties
is moving from thick stripes to thinner, multi-coloured
stripes or a combination of both. Horizontal stripes
are also becoming more popular.
On
other tie trends, Gary said: “More subtle patterned
designs on brighter shades of blue, gold, red and green
are increasingly leading the way, with the more adventurous
colours and unusual designs proving to be more popular
than the classic designs.
He added: “Skinny ties have continued to see
a resurgence. This is expected to continue with a move
from traditional plain colours to brighter diagonal
and horizontal stripes.”
So what are Gary’s fashion tips for the autumn?
Well, keep an eye on fashion cufflinks and tie bars.
Gary expects the trend to smarter wear to encourage
complementary accessories.
