David Beckham is the UK’s best dressed
celebrity dad
MORE great news for David Beckham after England’s
World Cup victory over Paraguay – he’s been
voted the UK’s best dressed celebrity dad.
Becks got a third of the votes cast by visitors to
stylish website www.tiewarehouse.co.uk, beating fellow
dads Vernon Kay and Jonathan Ross hands down.
The site’s Gary Baker said: “I think this
continues to prove David Beckham is a hero in every
sense. People think it’s amazing that he can have
a successful marriage, bring up two great kids, lead
the country’s football team – AND continue
to look stylish every day!”
The public were asked to pick between 10 celebrity
British dads in time for Father’s Day this Sunday.
Becks and TV presenter Vernon Kay got just under 50%
of the votes between them.
The full results are:
- David Beckham 32.6%
- Vernon Kay 17.2%
- Jonathan Ross 16.1%
- Frankie Dettori 8.2%
- Andrew ‘Freddie’ Flintoff 8.2%
- Gordon Ramsey 5.2%
- Jamie Oliver 4.1%
- Tony Blair 3.7%
- Peter Andre 2.6%
- Guy Ritchie 1.9%
Gary added: “We’re now going to send a bunch
of ties from www.tiewarehouse.co.uk to Becks to say
well done. Let’s hope England does win the World
Cup – then he’ll have lots of congratulatory
parties to wear them to!”
