| Step by Step |

Step 1. Put the tie around your neck. Make sure that the front of the tie is showing and that the wide end (A) hangs around 12” / 30.5cm lower than the thin end (B). |

Step 2. Bring A across the front of B. Make sure that it is not too loose or tight. |

Step 3. Bring A around and behind B to form a loop. |
 |
Step 4. Bring A up and over the loop. |
 |
Step 5. Bring A through the loop. If your tie gets a little loose at this point it does not matter as long as it is not so loose that it loses the shape you have just made. |

Step 6. Bring A across the front of B again. This time A should finish on the opposite side that it did in step 3. |
