Nine years, three office moves, a name change, a considerable amount of pizza, an unresolved mystery regarding cat food, a doggie pageboy at an Australian wedding, Eastenders, Big Brother and Dancing on Ice, four customer service awards, 7000 customer reviews, The Daily Mail, The Times, Metro, Closer, Look, Sunday Mirror, a whole lot of snow, a bear in a waistcoat, Alan Carr, Eamonn Holmes, Sean Bean and Paul O'Grady, 40 countries, and some of the most interesting, unique and unusual accessories for men you won't find anywhere else.

That's us in a nutshell. But it's not our story that we're really interested in.

You see, we like to think we help create other people's stories. We may not necessarily be the main character in the script, but we're always there, reassuring, and reliable. Whether it's the groom's cravat as he marries his childhood sweetheart, or the red tie chosen by a little boy for his first suit, or the bow ties adorning the veterans at their annual get together, each trying to outdo each other with the most outlandish neckwear. We're there.

We're the flash of colour at countless weddings around the world, the snuggly scarf for the new boyfriend's birthday, the cummerbund at the nervous prom date, the leather wallet on Father's Day, the Valentine's gift, the Christmas gift, the congratulations on your graduation gift, the office leaving gift, the Just Because gift.

And then there are the heart warming stories. The ones that make you pause for a second. Like the guys at the funeral of a young girl wearing ties featuring her favourite cartoon character, the numerous teachers, lecturers and mentors their students just want to thank with something personal, and the couple celebrating 60 years of marriage with a cruise and a spot at the captain's table.
